At Kraun, health and safety is more than a bunch of rules to follow.

Kraun is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all our workers, from the office to the field. We work diligently to ensure all employees are up to date on health and safety training.

Training

Safety Training

We ensure we educate our workers in safe practices on the job. They are familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for the Construction and ICI fields. Each employee is trained to honour our safety policy, and our customers' safety policies, without exception.

COVID-19 Response

At Kraun, our employees and customers are of the utmost importance to us. We are fully compliant with government guidelines, and are doing everything we can to keep our customers and employees safe.

Kraun Service Division (Home Electric and Industrial/Commercial/Institutional (ICI))

Our home and ICI service division is fully open and providing electrical services to all of our customers.

Personal Protective Equipment: All of our service employees are equipped with the following:

  • Disposable gloves and booties
  • Hand sanitizer & disinfectant
  • Masks, and Tyvek suits for hazardous situations

Guidelines

All employees must:

  • Immediately report if they are diagnosed with COVID-19
  • Stay home if experiencing any symptoms or feeling unwell
  • Wash hands frequently and thoroughly
  • Go into 14-day isolation if they have travelled outside of the country
  • Implement daily cleaning of commonly touched surfaces
  • Wear gloves whenever possible
  • Practice physical-distancing

We are asking our ICI customers to please:

  • Provide us with their company policies and procedures about COVID-19
  • Respect our employees and their prevention measures
  • Communicate if they are aware of any present symptoms or diagnoses of COVID-19 in the facility

We are asking our residential customers to:

  • Inform us if anyone in the home has been diagnosed with COVID-19
  • Respect our employees and their prevention measures
  • Communicate if they are aware of any present symptoms of illness in the home
